Privacy Policy

fetchbean (the website at fetchbean.com and the API at api.fetchbean.com) is operated by Tinkerers Labs ("we", "us"), based in Bengaluru, India. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it. Questions: hi@fetchbean.com.

What we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google (via Firebase Authentication) we receive your email address, name, and a Firebase user ID.
• API keys. We store a one-way hash of each key (never the key itself), plus a label and creation time.
• Usage data. For each API call we record the operation, timestamp, status, latency, credits charged, and the originating IP address, to run and meter the service and to prevent abuse.
• Tool inputs. When you call a tool, the input you provide (such as a search query or a URL) is sent to the relevant upstream provider to fulfil that request.
• Billing records. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments acting as Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your card details; we keep records of amounts, credits granted, and transaction references.
• Analytics. Our marketing site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure aggregate traffic (see Cookies below).

How we use it

• to provide, operate, and secure the service;
• to authenticate you and manage your account and API keys;
• to meter and bill usage against your prepaid credits;
• to detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
• to communicate with you about your account and the service;
• to comply with legal obligations.

Service providers

We share data only as needed to run the service, with:

• Google / Firebase, for sign-in and analytics;
• Dodo Payments, for payment processing (Merchant of Record);
• Cloudflare and DigitalOcean, for hosting and content delivery;
• tool providers (such as Exa, Jina, Tikhub, and OpenWeather), to whom your tool inputs are sent to fulfil a request.

We do not sell your personal data.

Google user data

When you connect your Google account, fetchbean can access your Google data on your behalf to run the tool calls you invoke. This covers your Google Calendar events, the Google Sheets and Drive files you open or that your agent creates (limited to files you grant with the drive.file permission), your Google Analytics reports (read-only), and your Search Console data (read-only).

We access this data only at your request or your agent's request, and use it solely to provide the tool calls you invoke. It is stored encrypted, never sold, never used for advertising, and shared only as needed to run the service.

fetchbean's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Cookies

Our marketing site uses Google Analytics cookies for aggregate analytics. The dashboard uses functional cookies and local storage to keep you signed in. You can block cookies in your browser, though the dashboard needs its functional cookies to work.

Data retention

We keep account and usage data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can close your account, by emailing hi@fetchbean.com. We handle requests in line with applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Security

We hash API keys at rest, hold provider credentials server-side, and use encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your API keys confidential.

Children

fetchbean is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the revised version here with a new date.
